Daniel is a Partner and Managing Director of the Beacon Pointe Akron, OH office, where he helps clients navigate the complexities of retirement planning, estate planning, business succession, legacy, and charitable gift planning. With a client-first, values-driven approach, Daniel works with individuals and families to build customized strategies that support long-term financial goals and meaningful legacies.

Daniel Bloom has earned the National Social Security Advisor (NSSA®) certification, demonstrating advanced expertise in Social Security claiming strategies.

Daniel began his career at American Express Financial Advisors and went on to serve as Vice President of Investments for JPMorgan Chase. In 2009, he founded Living Well Financial Group, a boutique advisory firm focused on holistic wealth planning. He joined the Jentner Wealth Management team in 2014, which merged with Beacon Pointe Advisors in 2025.

Daniel is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, a National Social Security Advisor (NSSA®), a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, and holds a degree in Business Administration from Malone University. Daniel is actively engaged in his community, having served on the Professional Advisor Council for the Akron Community Foundation, is past president of the Akron Tax and Estate Planning Council, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Community Vineyard Church. Daniel also served honorably in the Ohio Army National Guard as a 19Delta Cavalry Scout from 1989 to 1995. He has worked with disabled veterans under the Financial Planning Association Pro Bono Program. Outside of the office, Daniel enjoys traveling with his wife to visit their three grown children across the country, and never passes up the chance to squeeze in a round of golf.
